There are multiple reasons for that, it could be your modem, it could be a virus, it could be your provider, it could be your network card, it could actually be anything. I had the same kind of problem back in the days when I used a modem that was not as sophisticated and magnificent as the one I got right now. When I still played counter-strike, I had a problem with my ADSL wire, that is possible aswell. It can be your wires fault and for sure you will not be able to fix it in any way else than buying a new one. Firstly, I would suggest you to contact your internet provider because those guys are professionals and have knowledge about such problems, they deal with things like these almost daily. After you have called the provider homos, then its time to check out the modem itself. I mean, I doubt that its a virus that causes all this, so we dont really have to worry about that one. Are you able to get a new wire? Anything? Another modem? I mean just to test whether it would work with another modem, this is how we could verify the problems source. Have you ever updated your modem? Once my modem was totally outdated and its connection to the datacenter was worse than my grandmas memory, I mean what could be worse than my grandmas memory. By updating your modems firmware, you assure that its totally up to date and gives all the power it can. So, there are a thousand things that could cause your connection to cut off from time to time. Believe me, I have encountered this problem for more than ten times and it sucks slimy cunt fuck donkeyballs. You can always try though, you lose nothing by doing that. Try fixing, try hard. Dont give give up even if you fail at the first try or even second. Keep on banging. |
