hello

I swapped to a different laptop that has windows xp, old laptop had windows 7. I'm using same internet connection as before (wireless). Playing on any tibia server I get little freezes every so often (it seems random.. between 0.5 - 3 mins every freeze and they last between 1 - 30 seconds).

have u any idea what it is?

only tweaks i've used = http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info...LatencyFix.html

i did add the tweaks you posted in some guide on this forum, but they didn't seem to do much.

it's pretty much the same if you just plug in a usb mouse/keyboard (and i don't see how that'd fix my freeze problem)

Depending on the distance to the access point you might consider investing in a wifi extender, make sure nothing is blocking your signal to the access point (i.e brick wall) or interrupting your signal. If you live in an apartment with bunch of wireless signals around you, you should consider trying another wireless channel. I'd bring my laptop next to the access point (if possible) and see how it works there.
Go through the OSI model (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OSI_model) ie. start with the physical layer.

lol, apologies if i caused offence? don't be so touchy. i've ALWAYS played on a laptop and this is the first time i've had freezing problems. i know people who play on pc's who have lag and fps problems and i know people who play on laptops with no problems -> conclusion: it does not matter whether i use laptop or pc.

@gm limp- yea i moved the 2 magic internet box things (router? and other thing.. ;D) i'll see if it helps next time i play. thx
