Qutor I heard you were planning to remove the sidestep glitch? To be honest at the time I thought it was a great idea and I still do. Are you still trying to do this? I PROPOSE THAT YOU DO! Spend like 1 day working hard, hard, hard and I'm sure you can do it.

There's a reason why we have this topic, thanks for your proposal.
I don't know what God qut has said about this before but let me discuss this with him.
Happiness is a mood, not a destination

We already repaired this a few days ago but decided not to set it up to the real server as it caused other bugs. I cant exactly remember what all it caused, but it definitely made many things different.

If I remember correctly it made people stop when doing some stuff because of putting a delay to that whole sidestep / mouse right click thingy.

I can take a look at it again and reevaluate whether its worth it.

When I had a oldschool server I remember you could (in sources) set diagonal walk time. I don't remember a good value but logically it must be at least square rooth of 2 which is the distance you walk according to pythagoras.

There is already a delay set for the diagonal walking, it has always been. Its the so called "BUG" between right clicking and walking diagonal and what they cause to each other. So yeah, theres a bit more to it than the delay in diagonal walking.
